Inglorious Basterds, Selection of Ideas

Inglorious Basterds is the most recent of the Quentin Taratino movie's, released in 2009.

Feel I made a very strong a positive start to the designs, coming up with alot of quick fire ideas, with these working very well,
But you should never settle with your first idea, so I will continue to work with the ideas make them alot more appealing, and help it work into the set of posters.

I think the idea of using the circle around the image works really well, makes it more like the existing Nazi flag, but aswell as that felt there could be more experimentation with it, mess about with other possibilities, maybe some blood? Guns? etc.

But I feel like I am getting somewhere positive with this designs, putting together some strong designs that people are liking, just a matter of keeping it up and adding till I finally have one that I am happy to stick with.

I really like this idea, I feel out of all the ideas I have put together it will be one of these I will use,
Feel the images mix in with the others designed, would work very well with the template, and work well with the type.
But maybe the idea of using a scope? Circle out the design, block around the space to work with the type.

I feel the idea is a strong idea, using the scopes and it is working, but feel there isn't enough, maybe there is something I could add something to the idea, maybe blood splats?

The idea of using a target in the circle, with the surroundings being a bold block colour, as if someone is looking through a scope targeting something,
I feel it works really well, stands out, and will have to mess about with seeing if it works with the text surrounding it on the use of the template.

Sticking to the idea of the target, I have added the blood into the mix to give the poster abit more extra, my only fault would be the the blood drawing out the target sniper radius, just not making it as realistic as the other ideas I have put together.

Messing about with the idea of targets, I experimented with alot of different ways to produce targets, but don't feel they work anywhere near as good as the other designs I have put together. But I suppose it was worth experimenting with.
