Tie Designs, Reservoir Dogs

I started by putting together some designs, focusing on using the ties, of which all the character have,

but representing each character with the colour they are given through out the movie.

Mr. White, Mr. Pink, Mr. Orange, Mr. Blue, Mr. Brown & Mr. Blonde.

Here are a few designs I have put together so far_

I started working with putting a circle in the centre for the ties to start working around,

but I started to think the design is looking to much of a flower, so I have removed it for the designs below to try and test what would be better.

I tested it out, and on a personal view I feel it works alot better without it, although the design without a end, which is just black could do with some work.

I then tried rotating the ties the opposite way round and found that does work pretty well,

not sure as of yet whether I prefer in inwards or outwards design.

The inwards designs seem to make abit of a star, which could be something I work with.

The designs ain't coming across as ties, maybe the blow really is needed, so I had a mess and tried using circles, but maybe I should edit the circle to a better shape, more fitting for a tie.

I have made the image look alot more like a tie, and I feel these are the strongest set of designs out of the selection.

I feel the design does work, and its using more colours than I would like, but maybe that could be good for this idea, with the colours being relevant to the subject matter.

I could trying using different colours though, limit the colour pallet abit more.
